got a question!
I used GPSMapEdit and Customized my shape files and their fields and the Export was a .mp file
i used cGpsMapper to Convert this .mp too SHP , then i used maproute and finally whith cGpsmapper and this build.mp:

in my shape files all the fields are blank and zero but the RoadID.

file I made .IMG . then I upload this to my w200 , the unit has accepted the IMG but i see no road, no line and nothing on the gps !!

Does your map show up in the lists of maps on the unit? Is it selected? What happens if you deselect City Navigator?

Also, try adding:-

Transparent=Y


to the [IMG ID] section.

yes , i cant change its statue ,but it is on list and its selected.

Have you tried the "Transparent=Y" setting. I don't understand why, but without it, City Navigator seems to be displayed 'on top', when the map areas of the two maps overlap.

(You would think, that it's City Navigator that somehow needs setting transparent...)

I solved that problem , now I have the map on my unit , but the color of map is my problem now.the Day when the background is white the Lines of map are white and , in the night when the background is black the lines are black , the other problem is that lables on map are some things like this :----- -----!

any idea?

I wondered if you had ever gotten this working properly. I have some .shp files from my work that I would like to turn into POI files too. It might have to wait until Fall, but I will give it a go!
