Perrdom, are you the owner of all of those POI's? If you are, I'm truly impressed. If you're not, how do you know how many times those particular files have been downloaded? I'm of the impression that only the owner of a POI file can see the download count for that file.

I would like to know the answer to that question. I haven't seen it before except for on my poi file

I wish "All" files regardless of who uploaded them showed the downloaded count.

Unless an ISP blocker (or some other protection) is implemented after one download in a specified period of time, one can write a simple routine that will repeatedly download a desired POI as fast as the connection will allow.

a very cold & snowy winter up there "dans le pays du nord" . Perrdom was stuck inside and worked his

Yep...all my work, Glad winter is almost over.
It's not the cold this year, it's the darn snow (80 cm in 1 week.... total over 400cm so far this winter.

I have the only snowblower on the street (Given to me this year... paid $800 to have it repaired.... well worth it) so I tend to do all the driveways in my small neighborhood.... makes for good neighbors

I don't post much... too busy updating the these and the hotdog file. (The hotdog file has been quiet, but with summer approaching, I anticipate there will be renewed interest in supplying more great locations.)

I do agree that it would be neat to be able to see download counts on all files.

There seems to be a lot of sentiment for all POI's to have their download counts visible to everyone. Anything sacred about not allowing that?

We have something like this on our list of things to do but it would track how many different users download it, not how many times it is downloaded.

Having an accurate read on what is popular here helps us figure out what direction we need to be heading.

No. They are not seven of the top ten files downloaded. They are from the universe of those downloaded in the last seven days. This may have to do with which files were added to during that period rather than where the interest of all is invested.

I did download the Jamaican restaurants. I like spicy food.

I like seeing the download numbers because they allow me to see if I'm missing something that is popular.

You do not have to belong to a membership organization to use these parks. The total number of parks is 21 and this should show up on my listing.
