This file was created using the BTS National Transportation Database by converting a .dbf file to csv and cleaning up and reformatting. The file contains Truck, Port, and Train Terminals and any combination thereof. My experience with the Bureau of Transportation Statistics Transportation Database so far has been that it is not all that accurate because Tiger Maps were used and is a division of the Census Bureau. However, this one appears to be spot on. I read that the BTS has a program started to get some real accuracy into their geographic data. Perhaps this data fell under that initiative. I still won't guarantee its accuracy though. I did check quite a few by converting the file to KML and checking through Google Earth Plus. Most all checked seemed to be accurate. Will be mainly of interest to those in the Trucking Industry.

Note: 1/28/07 After Uploading the file, I noticed a small problem with some of the lines that may have caused the "Alert" feature of some units to be activated with those lines. For those that have already downloaded the file you can either ignor it and keep what you have or delete and re-download the corrected file. Sorry for the inconvenience!
