How to change internal POI address?

I found that many internal POI addresses in City Navigator North America NT 2008 are wrong. Is there a way I can change them myself? Or do I have to import custom POIs of right addresses?

One more question, can I edit the internal POIs myself?

built in POI database ....

The built in database in NOT editable. You should report any inaccuracies to NavTeq - this can be done thru their website.

All You can do

As you stated, all You can do is:

1. Make a custom POI with the correct coordinates & address

2. Inform Navteq and/or Garmin re; error

3. wait (hopefully) that it will be corrected in next mapping software version !

The one's that are on there,

The one's that are on there, no. But the ones you add, you can. Some of the ones that are pre-installed may be out of business as the POIs are fairly old. It's just a tool to show what is available.

Luckily, I have never had to go to one out of date. I do know of some that are, so I just won't go. If they could update it every year like the yellow pages!

Good luck

While you wait ...

While you wait for Navteq to update their base map you could always create a custom POI file ...
