Creating new POI files!

I want to start creating my own POI files, what is the easiest/fastest way to do that? I need to know the best way to get the coordinates or is there specific sources that can do that as a list. Where do you guys get yours?

Creating POI files

I find that the easiest way to get coordinates is to use Google earth. This is a free download file. You will need to know the addresses of your POI's .
You can also search this site for creating POI's and that will give you other options.

The best thing to do is to download a file and take a look at what one looks like.
You can open the CSV files in either Notepad or Microsoft Excel.
