submiting wal-mart poi file

I tried to submit a file for wal-mart in bolivar tenn., but it said it had to be a cvs. or another type file. all i have in my folders are excel spread sheets. i don't know how to change the file type. anyway the correct lon & lat. for the wal-mart is -89.02492 and 35.278323. the mailing address is corect, but when you google earth it's off by 3/4 of a mile east. hope org. creators will see this and correct this.

Is this a new location or a correction to a file?

Have you checked the other Wal-mart files on the site to see if this location is already featured?

Excel to CSV

In Excel you can do a File..Save As...and pick the CSV format. It stands for Comma Seperated Values.

THANKS, I GOT IT SAVED.

THANKS, I GOT IT SAVED. HAVEN'T USED OFFICE 2007 FOR VERY LONG AND IT TOOK AWHILE TO FIND "SAVE AS" WITH THE NEW TOOL BARS. i KNOW IT BETTER, BUT LEARNING FOR AN OLD DOG IS GETTING HARDER.

Yes, things are harder to find, but I think it is better. I have found things in 07 that I would never have found in 03.

this is a correction

Sorry about being so long about repling, been traveling and back doing some partime consulting work from the company I retired from.It's great to retire at 48. enought of that. The file i summited was a correction to the Wal-Mart showing in Bolivar,TN. It was off to the east by .75miles.
