anyone know how to get the coordinates from my favorites on the 660,670?

Ive saved two new speed camera locations in Star Valley AZ (next to Payson), but I cant seem to be able to bring up the coordinates for them after I got back home in Phoenix. I can "go" to the cameras, just cant seem to find the lat/long for them...
any suggestions?

Mapsource

If you have MapSource and bring the favorite to the PC you will be able to see the Lat/Long

I had another user tell me about this location but they didn't have coordinates to report. I would love to be able to put these in the file this week. Would you know that spot if you looked at google earth?

Miss POI

To the OP, if you don't have MapSource, you can load the points into EasyGPS (which is free) and the points will have the coordinates with them.

GPX editor

If you use a GPX editor you can open your saved favorites and pull the coords from there. You could even just use a text editor like Notepad and get at them that way.

I will take a look and let

I will take a look and let you know. I stopped in front of each camera, saved it in my favorites so I could send it to you, but dont know how to pull the coordinates out... let me work on this

Open your Current.GPX file

With your Nuvi connected to the computer, browse to the \Garmin\gpx folder and then copy the file Current.gpx to your desktop. Open it with either a GPX editor or Notepad and the coordinates will be listed in the file.

Trying notepad...

Im new at this so bear with me... found the gpx file in notepad.

anyone know how to get the coordinates from my favorites on the

I found a web site called poieditor.com that allows you to easily create custom POIs. It uses Google maps and also allows you to use satellite view, so you can zoom onto the exact spot. You can create as many locations as you want and then save them as a Garmin .csv file. When you open that saved file on your computer all the coordinates appear in an Excel format. This is great if you have a bunch of "not for public distributon" sites you want to save to your Garmin, and if you want to post them to POI factory it will make it easier for Ms POI.

POIEdit

I use POI Edit. I have the coordinates on the GPSr and then I go home and open it up in POI Edit and save it to a poi.
