i was looking at another site and an interesting point came up. on garmin gps after a route is set it gives u a time of arrival. this fellow says when he crossed into a new time zone it didnt change. someone else added what happens when u go through two or three time zones. ive not taken my c530 into another time zone. does anyone have any feedback.

Will stay with whatever timezone it was originally set in - does not change automatically - have to manually reset it. It does not work as a cell phone.

I just ran a long trip

I just ran a long trip through two time zones and watched mine to see what it would do. I've got the Mio and have it set to sync with the Satellite time feed, and it never changed. I guess you would have to change that manually if you wanted it more accurate.
