I was looking on the internet for info or other sites on GPS and I did find this site http://search.techrepublic.com.com/search/GPS.html
that talk about Nuviphone but no price vs iphone.

I would be amazed if this acutally made it to market with a carrier in the US. I think Garmin has a better shot of trying to partner with an existing WinMobile or Blackbeerry manufacture and bundling the MobileXT app.

The combi phones are
The combi phones are expensive (in Canada) and the warranty (and product) lasts only 1 year while the contract is generally for three years.
It would be better for them to work with one of the major phone mfgs.
Its a GSM phone
So if/when it comes out, will have to be with a GSM Provider here, and there's not much choice in those...

Any new word on the Nuviphone release and cost? Kind of looks like the tom tom app for antoher popular phone

Rumors are that the G60 will be available in Q4, on AT&T. No price details yet. It's been out in Asia for a few months.
