BTW Charley , our coords are 31 ft. apart

The Alamo is a cool place. It's right in downtown San Antonio which is also a great place to visit. The one thing that surprised me was that it was much smaller than I imagined it to be. When you go inside, it has a very sacred/hallowed feeling inside.
Church
What we call the Alamo now is just a small part of what used to be there in 1835. It's just the church building and some barracks that remain. The rest of the fort is gone.
