Nuvi 350 vent mount

MOUNTGUYS have a nuvi 350 vent mount that also has the Nuvi cradle as a combo deal. It looks good. Has anyone used this device? It goes for $32.00.

Does the mount rock back and forth and change position with bumps in the road or is it a faily stable device.

Mount

I have the one that was $16. It is set up kind of like a tripod. There are two prongs at the top that attach to the vent and one at the bottom that just rests against it. Unless you are traveling down a very bumpy road or off roading, I do not think it would be a problem. It sits almost 3 inches off the vent. To remove it from the vent, you will probably need a flat blade screw driver to reach the prongs. Doesn't the weight of the Garmin damage the plastic vents?

No it does not damage the vent at all. The nuvi really does not weigh anything. I have been using one in two different cars for over a year and they are fine.

Arkon GN047

I got the Arkon GN047 Removable Swivel Air Vent Mount for Garmin Nuvi and Garmin StreetPilot and love it. Cheap, easy to use and small to carry or to store.
