MapSource v6.13.7

MapSource version 6.13.7 is out as of February 21, 2008 at:
http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=209

Changes made from version 6.13.6 to 6.13.7:

*Fixed an issue sending maps to units on Asian language computers.
*Fixed an issue where the vertical profile was not displayed correctly.
*Fixed an issue when transferring data to a blank SD card.
*Fixed an issue where the map tile name was not displayed correctly on the unit after transferring to the device with MapSource.

It's strange that Mapsource can't find the update itself when you select check updates from the Help menu.

Another thing is that Mapsource still can't select maps larger than 4G, guess it's a limitation by Garmin GPS.

Will this update my nuvi 350?

Or is this just for maps on a PC?

Do you think that I should copy and re-send the maps again to my Garmin. Do you think there would be more info coming from the new softwar update?

Mapsource Update

When I went to software update in my Mapsource v6.13.6 it said no update available. Went to the garmin site as suggested and got the update. Another "ATTABOY" for POI Factory and retiredtechnician.

The update function inside MapSource rarely, if ever, works properly. It's almost always advisable to get it from the direct link on Garmin's website.

This update is for the pc version of Mapsource. NOT for your GPSr.
