nuvi 660 and 760

Sounds great to me, cant beat that with a bat

I got a 660 from amazon a few weeks ago when it was $315. I don't regret it.

Walmart.com has the 660 for $369.98 and comes with travel case and Fodors travel guide, a/c adapter, car adapter. Nice package, just got mine yesterday and am thrilled with it. Oh you have to type in Garmin 660 in search block because it doesn't come up if you don't do a specific search on it, Guess they don't want to sell all of them...

Just got one @ shipdog.com for $499, lowest price on the net as of 1 week ago. I was skeptical of the price & also the seller being physically in Brooklyn. Checked out its feedback on resellerratings.com & it was stellar. Anyway, I got the GPS in 3 days.

I decided to get the 760 over the 660 because of its capabillity of using the MAD maps. So far, I've been very satisfied.

Just be mindful that the MAD maps you can get for the Garmin GPS units are not actual maps but rather are custom routes with collections of POIs to go with them.

Just got the Nuvi 760 @ Amazon.com for $464. New in box.

Came by UPS yest., took only 5 days to receive it. Very nice unit, like the size and how slim it's from my C530. Loaded the POI's from my C530 folder and updated the new software version from Garmin.

Very happy with it and couldn't beat the price of $299.

That's Great News, do you recall which SW version was on it before the upgrade ? How is the FM transmitter working out ?

Sorry for my ignorance. What are MAD maps? I have a Nuvi 660 for about 3 months.

I prefered the 660 because the speaker is better than the 760.
