I've seen several references to POI Edit software on this site recently. Is it something I would want to have? I have POI Verifier and POI Loader, both of which have been of great value. What will POI Edit do?

I mainly use it to open my favorite's gpx file and save it to a csv file.

Unsupported?

I tried this program a while back and found several useful features that were handy for me (duplicate checking, Google Maps display).

Unfortunately there were bugs/issues with Garmin CSV files. When I went to the program website (http://www.poiedit.com/) to look for fixes, what I found led me to believe that the program is not actively supported.

The PoiEdit user forums are filled with spam, and the program author last posted there in Feb 2007.
