Where To Issues

I have noticed there is an issue with the "Where To" and then "My Current Route".

So here it goes:
You have a route going and you are traveling down the road and you hit "where to" and "near" "my current route" and then you go to the "custom POI", and "Culvers". So now you have the nearest 50 of the choice selected. But some are on the route and some are not even close to the route.
I did notice if you go through the same choices and use POI that are factory loaded you will get locations that are on the route.

Has anyone noticed this problem?

It Depends

I think it depends on how comprehensive your custom POI's are. If you have a limited custom POI list, then the "nearest" may be a long ways away. With a little bit of work, you can use Google Maps to generate custom POI's that are actually along your route.

My impression from my C340 is that the built in POI's are affected by the "along route" selection. Custom POI's seem to ignore that choice. I tested this by trying with and without the along route choice and got the same custom POI list.
