Extracting lat/long from My Favourites

Using MapSource to backup your favorites to your pc, open your favorites either from the file saved on your pc or sent to MapSource from your GPSr via USB.

Under the Waypoints tab you will see a list of your favorites.

Right click one of the Waypoints aka Favorite(s) location and select Waypoints Properties.

In the new window there is a field called Position, you will see your Latitude and Longitude for that location.

You can highlight the location and right click to copy and paste to what ever you like such as Excel, Notepad or Word etc..

Just wanted to say thank you to both of you. I just downloaded EasyGPS and extracted the Favourites within 2 minutes. Thanks for the help.

I use POI Edit to do the same.

POI Edit wouldn't help with a C330 though - you need something that can access the GPSr using the Garmin proprietary protocol, rather than as a disk.

POI Edit doesn't support that, does it?
