Are you saying that you currently have the v9 Europe maps and want to update to v2008?

I don't believe the update disk has been released yet. Reportedly it's due sometime in Feb/Mar.

Or are you saying that you want to ADD the UK maps to the current maps on your GPS unit.

Assuming you don't qualify for a free update (see http://my.garmin.com), then there seems to be an interesting twist, in the way these updates are to be distributed:

"Please remember that the City Navigator Europe NT 2008 Map update will be available via Retail outlets only."

Along the same subject...is there a 3rd party UK map out there to add to US unit with 2008 maps of North America installed? Preferably that can be used with mapsource.
