Are you trying to load

Are you trying to load custom poi's to your gps?Your c330 will not show up on your computer as a mass storage device.Only allows you to add or remove custom poi's.

that's what we do not want. I want to delete ALL the language files except English....

You can not access the files

You can not access the files on the gps.C330 is not a mass storage unit.If you are trying to make more room for the 2008 maps you will have to split it up to the unit and a sd card.

The original

The c330 was (as I read somewhere) one of the original color touch screen gpsr units that allowed you to load the whole US and Canada at once. There have been many changes since then, but it is still a great basic unit. You should be able to load 15,000 to 30,000 poi's easily to your unit. Remember to not load any mp3's as they can't be used. If you load a lot of bmp they can use space as well, but not that much...

ive loaded'08 and have canada on the sd card but what i would like to do (if possible)is load canada on the unit and the lower 48 on the card,to me that would free up even more memory on the unit because canada has 430mb and lower 48 has 950mb,has any one tried this and was succesful?

Freeup Space

"but what i would like to do (if possible)is load canada on the unit and the lower 48 on the card"

Yes, You can add Canada to the unit and the lower 48 states to an SD Card. But why are you looking to free up so much space? I'm just curious since you can't load mp3 files that you might need room for.

And this would allow you to add maps from mapsource, but you could load those on the SD card, also. If you are wanting the space for poi's, this is not the same space used for that.

Sorry to quote you bandaid, but it pertained.
