Trouble with POI Loader

I've been trying to download a POI file into my device and I keep getting the following error message.

"there is a problem copying the data to the data card"

"the device is not ready"

I am not using a data card. I have Nuvi 350.

How do I fix this?

Thanks

.

On the screen where it asks you to select a destination for the data, what are you selecting in the drop down list?

Wow, what a lovely thing to say. Thank you.

I saved the file to a folder

I saved the file to a folder I created on my documents. It is a zip file and I have both the zip file and unzipped file saved in there.

Ok, you saved the file to a folder and unzipped , that's fine.

But when you run POI Loader have to select a DESTINATION for the data first.

Look at this picture. You want to select your GARMIN or NUVI drive as the place where the data from POI Loader will be stored.

It can be any drive. Depends on your puter and how the drives are mapped.

Ok, it doesn't really matter what the letter is. You just need to make sure that you are selecting the correct one on the POI Loader screen.

Are selecting the drive named GARMIN or NUVI? That's what you need to be sure to do.

Thank you. I got it to

Thank you. I got it to work. I was just using the find device and assumed it was where it should be.
