Maestro 4210

Had a Magellan Roadmate 800 that crapped out on me. Sent it of to Magellan for warranty work. At this point they can't find the unit and have decided to compensate me by supplying me with a new Maestro 4210.

Checking to see if anyone here has had experience with these units (4210). If so; are they good or bad? ( Just trying to prepare myself in advance )

Since you've dealt with Magellan before, you already know the most important part: Good units, terrible service and support.

I have a 4000 (some less features than 4210) and I like it fine so far. It has a couple of quirks that I don't really care for but from reading here and other forums, it appears that none of the Mfg's are perfect. I'm just praying that I don't need any serious service any time soon.

To be fair, I have dealt with their "service" people twice already. Both contacts had a good result.....if you discount the problem communicating with the folks in India !!
