Just An Observation Or Two

After getting a GPS for Christmas and becoming a member of this forum for a short 3 plus weeks, I'm finding that just about every question that I likely want to ask has already been asked and is displayed in the forum. However, sometimes it takes a while to filter through all of the responses to eventually find the answer to the question(s). This is not necessarily a bad thing but it does make one NOT want to ask something that has already been answered - even though asking might get one a quicker response.

I've also noticed that this forum has a rather large support base. Other forums seem to have a "core group". I'd be reluctant to use these words to describe the many that provide assistance & support.

In short, cudos to everyone who have contributed. Hopefully, I can add to the mix - after I read-up on a bunch of forum comments....

And Kudos to YOU for taking the time to do the research via the faqs and search. Probably 75 % of the questions asked have been answered previously in one thread or another.
Enjoy the site - it's a GREAT place !

Re: Just An Observation Or Two...

Hi Grandad-2003,

Your powers of observation are right on the money. There's a wealth of information available "on the site" and you already "get it" when it comes to searching the site for answers, before you pose a question.

This is a site with a legion of members, helping other members and that's what makes it so great.

In closing, let me say..."Welcome to the POI-Factory".

Regards,

tailspin

Oops... looks like I missed "kudos". I guess I'm used to being saved by spell check.
