Another reason to upgrade

" not affected are Microsoft Office Excel 2007, Microsoft Office Excel 2007 Service Pack 1"

I went from 2003 to 2007. It is a real improvement and glad I did the upgrade. But don't worry, someone will do it to 2007 (2008 if Mac) sooner or later. twisted

Problem was fixed 4 months ago

Those who have installed Office Service Pack 3, which includes updates for Excel as well as other products in the office productivity suite, are not affected, Microsoft said. That service pack was released last September.

Not everyone is as computer savy as Phil smile
Some folks run older apps on their Electrolux LOL
and others don't know they have to check for updates or don't have their puters set to auto update.

Use to have OpenOffice installed. But MSOffice2007 is a lot easier to understand. As close as they are to each other (OO/MS2003) even 2003 was easier.

Is Office XP (2002) affected?

Is Office XP (2002) affected? I see that I have Office 2003 SP3, but what not Office XP. The only 2003 Office product I have installed is Frontpage. The Excel and the rest are Office XP.
