You cannot change the time.
You cannot change the time. It gets that from the satellites.
You can change the timezone by touching the clock. That will bring up the Time screen.

I believe it sets its time
I believe it sets its time based on the GPS system time. You can change your time zone, daylight saving time, and time format (12- or 24-hour)via the tool kit ("wrench" icon - settings - time). I don't know of any way to set the time, as if it were a clock. In any case, the atomic clocks in the GPS system are accurate enough for me.

Yeah, the GPS unit gets its time from the satellites. You would need to make sure it is on the correct time zone and make sure that you have a satellite lock to acquire the time.
