Are you in NZ. What GPS unit do you have. If purchased in NZ most units would come loaded with NZ map c/w roads and base POI's like shops, accomodation etc

i am in South Africa, just loaded the City Navigator for my Nuvi610. how do i know if my unit has the latest updates for New Zealand before i go there?

go to "spanner", then "map",

go to "spanner", then "map", then "map info"

Current version for NZ is "City navigator New Zealand 2008"
