need to know how to download on a garmin330

i bought a garmin 330 last week. cant u download poi on here on a scandisk i tried it with the red light cameras and a few from here. they show on the card but i cant get any thing to show on the unit. when i tried to down load some to the unit it said there wasn't enough space on the unit no matter how little i tried to download onto it.

Your unit like the one I own will not accept pois on the card.You can only install directly to the unit using POI loader.It sounds like you have used up all your free space on the unit.Unless you have downloaded a lot of custom pois that is hard to believe.Make sure to go up to faq at top of page for Garmin and check out all the information first on loading pois.

I have a c320 and it will hold only 1.4 meg .
wasn't enough space
Go on your computer to the file you have your custom pois in and hold the mouse cursor over the folder(don't click)and see how big the file is.Then you will no how much data you have stored.

The c330 holds 2mb of data in addition to its loaded maps (2008 now uses more than a gb I think). So, believe what Motorcycle Mama said,

On the 330 and 340 there IS 2 mg of space alloted for the POIs, in addition to the map data, but how many POIs you can load does not depend on the NUMBER of them, but on the size of the csv file. The file could be bigger or smaller for a group of POIs depending on how many fields of data are in the file. For instance, I can load a file of Midwest cemeteries, which is over 44,000 POIs, but the file only has three fields (Longitude, Latitude, and Name). If you have a file with more fields, you get less POIs in the limited 2 mg file size.

Are you asking if the c330 can receive traffic updates from a traffic receiver? The answer is no.
Or are you asking if the c330 can load the redlight and speed cameras as Custom POIs and get alerts on these Custom POIs? The answer to that is yes.
