Latest Map Guarantee

I've downloaded the latest map for my TomTom 720, however as I don't have enough memory to install it into my device, I first have to delete some content, notable, the original North America map. All of this is done via the TomTom home program. My problem is that after the program has gone through all of its machinations, there are no maps on my device! I then have restore my device which is a pain. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks. I'll have a look there.

Your TT will act as an external hard drive when connected to the computer. Move the file that contains the maps to your desktop or someplace that you can retrieve it later then go into Home and do your update. If you don't like the results, hook back up to the computer and copy the file back to the TT!

several others on the www.gpsreview.net forums (see TomTom Go section of the Forums; or do a search in the Forums) had this same issue.

Check out the discussions, or re-start one and I'm sure you'll get some very specific answers. I didn't have this problem, so I don't know how to specifically help you.
