Garmin C550 Screen Flash

Just got a new Garmin c550 and love it, but the screen would flash real quick every so often. Returned the first one and exchanged it for another and this c550 does it also.
Does anyone know is this normal maybe due to recalculating your location, etc.
Any thoughts?

I have had my C550 for about five months and I have not had that happen to mine yet. You might want to make another return to see if that makes a difference. I also assume that you did or have updated your C550 from Garmins website. Don't know if that would have made a difference or not.

I've had my c550 for about 8 months and have never seen the screen flash.

Yes, everything is updated, I used it last night and it did not happen once?? Go figure.
Mine never flashes either
Mine never flashes either. But as someone involved with transmitters and the like, I have known electronic equipment to flash occaisionally when in close proximity to radars, microwaves, high tension power lines, ...etc. If this is not your case, and the problem persists, then perhaps another return is in order.
