Your Garmin Map is over year old Message

Has anyone else gotten an annoying startup message that states your Garmin Map is over year old?
How do we get rid of this message without updating the map?

My i3 does that and it's
My i3 does that and it's annoying. The gps gets its date and time from satellites so I don't think you can turn it off.
