I learned two things on my first long trip with the nuvi.
1. Pick faster route for long trips or it will avoid the interstate like the plague (at least it did on this trip). I was getting real frustrated with it before I realized I had it set for shorter distance.
2. It knows the roads better than I do. coming back, I actually followed the route it recommended rather than the one I had taken for years. The route I took was a 2 lane 55MPH, the one it picked was a little longer and looked out of the way, but was 4 lane and 65mph.
