Ok, the other day, my aunt asked me to tell her the best GPSr to give to her roommate (They are in their late 60's/early 70's). Of course, I said Garmin. But that is because I am a Garmin zombie. I told her that it was a lot easier to learn then a Tom Tom (based on my experience with my father's). But I didn't really say anything about Magellan. My father told her the T2.
So what do you think? Remember, they are older and don't need any extras. Just something easy to operate and learn. I still say a Garmin 200w, but that is me.
I agree with that
The garmin nuvi would be the best choice. It's low price and easy operating so it would appeal to young and old......plus you can get neat icons for the holiday's.
Garmin... I like their product and support they provide to their customers
I agree. I suggested the nüvi 200 for my parents. The best buy under $200.
I would not bother with any else than garmin.
Thanks, I agree with all of you.
Good, I also purchased a nuvi for my dad for x-mas.
I would Garmin, since it's not just a black box. others are limited to the built-in software.
I found this site is worth visiting
