Cemetery Locations for c340

When I am in "map mode" I can see many cemeteries. However, I can't find a way to get them into a list box (like I can for hospitals, food, and so on). I don't even find them (the ones I have looked for) when I do a name search. I have looked in "community," where I thought they would be, and not found them.

In map mode I can put the pointer/cursor on the cemetery I am interested in and save the location. The name of the cemetery is now a "favorite."

Is there a way to get the cemeteries listed? (Other than use the poi file here.)

Interesting

I see the same on my GPS when driving by cemeteries but haven't tried to navigate to any of them. I guess it would be a good thing to know before Halloween or if a lot of people are dying. I'll have to try to navigate one the next time I go by one.

The cemetery files in the

The cemetery files in the POI files here is the way to go. The file for the whole country is over 100,000 cemeteries, but that is too large to load into the C340 memory. I would suggest downloading all of the various US section files and just load the one you need when you need it. The POI loader makes this easy as long as you have a laptop to load the correct file on the run. Unfortunately, you cannot use the SD card fuctionality on the C340 to swap the loaded POI file, as the custom POI files cannot be read from an SD card, they need to be loaded to internal memory.
