Garmin Road Colors?

Any idea what the various road colors stand for? I have a Nuvi 660 and their must be a reason for the various colors.

Yes the red roads are major

Yes the red roads are major highways, gold roads are main roadways/freeways, grey streets are local roadways.

Can we change the colors on the GPS?

Changing Road Colors

I have exhausted my resources and have found no way to change the road colors. I will post again if I do find a way. I will keep researching.
