Voice alert for poi is not working

I have a nuvi 660. I loaded School Zone poi with .bmp and mp3 (for voice alert) files using poi loader in it.

When I reach near a school zone, it alerts me by showing it on the screen. But no voice alert, although I have uploaded mp3 file for voice alert.

Does anyone has solution for this.

Thanks.

Voice alert for poi is not working

cksigh - There are a lot of "threads" on this subject but the biggest problem I had was making the mp3 file read exactly as the POI file.

Here is one of the threads I was talking about.

Yeap, tons of threads. But

Yeap, tons of threads. But make sure that...

1) In windows (folder options) that you have "Hide file extensions for know file types" NOT checked
2) make sure that mp3 it named exactly the same except for the extention

Thanks asianfire.

I had the same mp3 filename as csv.
I unchecked the "Hide file extensions ..." and followed through the standard steps and it is working.

Thanks again.
