Best Price on GPS and/or Accessories

Has anyone found a GPS deal lately like the one from Costco? I'm kicking myself over not getting that one.

Ordered from Costco

I ordered the 650 from Costco, but they would only let me buy one. I had it sent to my daughter in AZ, they charged me the AZ tax which added $18 to the total, pluse $10 shipping. Still cheap enough.

I still need one (with European maps) for my other daughter.

I'll keep checking back here for updates! Even if it's not for Christmas, her birthday is in Feb. so I still have time.

Nuvi 660

680 for $480 @ Costco

They're selling the nuvi 680 for $480. Who knows, maybe a coupon will come out to bring the price below $400. I think the only difference b/w the 660 and 680 is that the 680 has 1 year of MSN Direct.

FM transmitter.

Does the 660 have a FM transmitter? I know that the 680 does. I guess I could go and look and see...lol.

EDIT: Yeap it does. and as Ducati said, it seems that MSN is the only difference

Costco Deal

Last night I just purchased the Garmin Nuvi for $479.99 in Oakbrook, IL
I love it. I was able to enable bluetooth with my Verizon cellphone too. Glad I found your site.

Nüv5 250w for $250

I bought my Nüv5 250w for $250 the day after Thanksgiving. I know it is not the greatest unit, but it is my first one and it is good enough for what my needs.
Maybe next year I'll buy a better one on the same day (those sales are THE GREATEST!) smile

Which Verizon phone?

I got the 750 instead of the 760 because I didn't think the blutooth would work with my Verizon Razr. The Razr hasn't been able to connect bluetooth to anything I have tried other than the earpiece they sold me.

My 760 works perfectly with our Telus Razr. Brings in Phone book automatically... works great!

Nuvi 650 at Costco

Yeah, I picked up a 650 from Costco for $299.99 for my wife. She dosn't do as much traveling as I do, so I keep the 680 with MSN and she uses the 650. Good deals happen - you just have to wait for them.

Got another one this morning!

Thought I would give it a try and Costco let me buy another 650 today. Guess you just can't put two in your shopping cart.

On another thread, someone posted the Nuvi 200 on Amazon, but when I did a comparison on the Garmin site, the 200 doesn't speak street names. I find this helpful.

Costco still has nuvi 680

I ordered the nuvi 680 from Costco the Monday after Thanksgiving for $480. I noticed last week that they had them in the store still at the same price. I'll check again tonight to see if they are still there.

I purchased a 200 Nuvi last

I purchased a 200 Nuvi last night for 169.99 including shipping from Amazon.

best buy

I posted somewhere else that I got my c340 for 206.00 from best buy, they price matched it from an internet site. I am still looking for it cheaper since its discontinued, I have 30 days from thanksgiving.

OK for me

My Razr connects fine to my BMW x3. It also connects to Blackberries and other devices. Don't know why it shouldn't connect to other devices if it connects to one.

Cheers

Walmart.com Street pilot 550

Walmart has Street Pilots for $299..

good web price comparisons

For general Web shopping, and comparing $$ of different vendors, and calculating shippping, I like these sites:

    PriceGrabber
    PriceScan
    Sales Circular

For Garmin Accessories I would recommend Element Liquidations
