What the heck is up with Garmin these days???

Kudos to Garmin. They've been putting out some good and actually useful firmware updates where I can actually see change for the better. First, the 4.2 OS update made a noticeable difference in the increase of screen update speed. Just took my first trip with the new "chipset G" GPS 3.0 firmware update. After the initial reboot and satellite acquisition now, on each power up, faster than Emeril can say BAM!, I have instant full satellite lock on. No waiting at all. Now they need to get on that Nüvi QWERTY thing...

NUVI 660 and QWERTY

I got a response back from Garmin that they do not plan to provide qwerty for Nuvi 6XX series.

Shri : Nuvi 660

Yeah, me too. They can do

Yeah, me too. They can do it like they did for the older Street Pilots, but they can't (or won't) do it for the Nüvis. Seems they're improving a lot of other things with the latest firmware updates.
