Garmin nuvi 200 W

I've been playing with a friend's Nuvi 200. I think its excellent. Its very easy to use. My very non-technical wife figured out the basics in less than 5 minutes. The 200w is the same as the 200 with a wide screen. Its $224 right now on Amazon. POI data doesn't take much space, you may not need an SD card for it.

I checked out the Amazon deal and the product specs so what the hell, I bought the unit.

The 200 is available for $160. The wide screen isn't worth the extra $$ to me, especially since it makes for a larger device to carry around when you remove it form the car. I'd rather have more screen in the direction of travel than to the sides.

Who's got it for $160? I'd like to check that out.

I ordered two nüvi 200s as gifts last Friday. The store was hhgregg.com and they offered free shipping.

i just got it (nuvi 200W), and i love how nice and clear it is, and it handles POI files really nicely.

The only downside with it, for me, is that it doesn't support TTS, so street names will not be announced.

That must have been a Black Friday deal only. Its $249 now. Amazon still has the best price I can find, $203, and free shipping.

I was about to mention thenerds.net, where I ordered a Nuvi 200 for $184. But the price went to $195 the next day, and now it's $245. I was kicking myself for missing the $169 Black Friday price at Best Buy, but it looks like I got a pretty good deal after all (and I didn't have to get up at 4 am to do it).
