Not Recommended

I don't think this would be a recommended use for the redlight POI files:

KNOXVILLE, TN -- A $50 fine would've been a bargain for Clifford Clark.

Instead, Clark is looking at criminal charges and jail time.

He's accused of shooting out a red light camera Sunday to avoid a ticket.

Knoxville police say they found a rifle in Clark's minivan, spent shell casings in a parking lot, and the camera with four bullet holes in it.

Clark faces vandalism and reckless endangerment charges.

Man arrested for shooting traffic camera

This man actually did what we have all thought about...

If I'm on the jury, he

If I'm on the jury, he walks. Period.

Ditto for anyone up for murdering a DMV employee, phone company 'customer support' rep, or similar ilk. Far as I'm concerned, that's justifiable homicide every time.

(the scary thing is, I'm not so sure how much I'm kidding)

One less Camera Haha

Knoxville TN

"This is the first one that's been shot," Capt. Gordon Catlett said of the wounded camera at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Interstate 640 — one of 15 camera-equipped intersections in the city.

Clifford E. Clark, 47, was charged with felony vandalism and reckless endangerment for allegedly firing at least three rounds from a .30-06
hunting rifle at the camera, knocking it out of action.

He was arrested after patrol officers heard shots around 2 a.m. Sunday, spotted a minivan leaving the parking lot of a closed business and pulled it over. Inside they found Clark and the high-powered rifle.

Clark, now facing a $50 fine if convicted and loss of his rifle, refused to say anything about the incident to police, leaving the motive unclear.

Catlett, who oversees the red-light camera program, said 6,798 drivers have been photographed running the red light at Broadway and I-640 and ticketed since the camera was installed in 2006. Clark was not one of them, he said.

Revolution stated?

Does this mean the "Boston Tea Party Revolution 2" has started?
If it does, where do I volunteer? smile

I'm against the double taxation that goes on now.
I'm against the high taxes that we have now.
I'm against the tax money I pay being used for things that are immoral.
I'm against taxation without representation that these cameras are doing.
