I believe this site to be one very 'user friendly' website. It has the 'Getting Started', 'FAQ', 'POI Files', and 'Discussion' at the top of most every page (if not every page) ... and if that isn't enough, check out the links in the right column. In addition, if you can't find what you want, there's the 'Search' window which will get you almost anything you want to know about POIs and your GPS. I think most members will agree that JM and Miss POI have done one tremendous job here.

Keep a Spare

I travel with my nüvi 660 as a spare to my nüvi 760 in the unlikely event that I might have a failure while away. I have become dependent (aka addicted) to GPS as a means of reaching unfamiliar destinations in unfamiliar cities. It removes the tension that can be associated with travel and allows me to focus on why I am there rather than how to get there.

The spare is small enough to not notice the additional 6.5 ounces plus windshield mount in my bag.

Get the word out to other shoppers....

Don't forget to help out your fellow GPS Shoppers out there by clueing them into the help and POI Files that can be found here at POI Factory. You can save people time and frustration by sharing your secret addiction with them.

I have the c330 but I decided to pick up the Nuvi 200 for my dad. It's pretty nice, has the updated 2008 maps. I like the compact size to it. Couldn't beat the 169 price at Best Buy. Surprised Best Buy had plenty of stock on Black Friday even though I got there late.

Any Updates?

Picked up the nuvi 350 from CircuitCity.com

No way I was waiting in line or getting up early, I was still able to get it at noon. Shipped to my door on Sunday, so pretty fast!

(A bit ticked that the nuvi 650 was the same price at Walmart and Costco, but my order already went through at CircuitCity, so I settled for the nuvi 350. Widescreen would have been nice, but not a necessity)
