The ads can also be perused at
That's a very nice price. Cross Dad and brother off the Christmas shopping list. Thanks for the info!
Nice work, alofficial - I think I'm going to pick up one of those cheap 650s for my daughter in Boston.
I am looking to upgrade from my StreetPilot i5 to the next base Garmin model. Any suggestions?

Glad I could help
Will these deals be available online only, or will they be available in the stores?
Thanks. Good info!
Thank you for the info. I am hoping to catch the 660 for my dad for x-mas.
Wow, cool info. And to think, I paid $743 for my Garmin nuvi 660, 1 year ago. Still happy with the purchase though!
I think it will be available in stores only since it said black Friday special but I could be wrong.
Might look at this one, theres a lot of good deals
Also, "No Payments for up to 90 Days or 6 Months" with BillMeLater (minimum purchase required) may be used at newegg and overstock; don't forget to add valuable coupons (like 10% off) too.
Thanks for the Info i will be checking these units out
I am going to print this out and take it with me!
Good to have teh info in advance. Will need to warm up the GPS and plot out the best plan of attack.
Like "free redlight camera" file on black friday for all visitors...lol. j/k
Right now Costco has the 650 for $299 while supplies last. One of the gals at work just picked one up for hubby for Xmas.
Thanks for the info.
If you don't mind me asking, what is your source for this info?
Sorry if this is a redundant question, but what exactly is "Black Friday"???? Is it a specific store, a date out there in retail land? The day after Thanksgiving....just curious???

To a new user the site is not very user friendly.
I believe this site to be one very 'user friendly' website. It has the 'Getting Started', 'FAQ', 'POI Files', and 'Discussion' at the top of most every page (if not every page) ... and if that isn't enough, check out the links in the right column. In addition, if you can't find what you want, there's the 'Search' window which will get you almost anything you want to know about POIs and your GPS. I think most members will agree that JM and Miss POI have done one tremendous job here.
I travel with my nüvi 660 as a spare to my nüvi 760 in the unlikely event that I might have a failure while away. I have become dependent (aka addicted) to GPS as a means of reaching unfamiliar destinations in unfamiliar cities. It removes the tension that can be associated with travel and allows me to focus on why I am there rather than how to get there.
The spare is small enough to not notice the additional 6.5 ounces plus windshield mount in my bag.
I know where I'm going, thanks!
They have done a great job, but its the members that really make this site "user FRIENDLY"
Don't forget to help out your fellow GPS Shoppers out there by clueing them into the help and POI Files that can be found here at POI Factory. You can save people time and frustration by sharing your secret addiction with them.
awesome, just picked up the c330 and i'm way happy about it. i feel the start of a long relationship with gps.
According to the Kohls ad that unit is a Nextar branded unit, it claims a regular price of $229.
I have the c330 but I decided to pick up the Nuvi 200 for my dad. It's pretty nice, has the updated 2008 maps. I like the compact size to it. Couldn't beat the 169 price at Best Buy. Surprised Best Buy had plenty of stock on Black Friday even though I got there late.
Did anybody use any of that black friday info?

Picked up the nuvi 350 from CircuitCity.com
No way I was waiting in line or getting up early, I was still able to get it at noon. Shipped to my door on Sunday, so pretty fast!
(A bit ticked that the nuvi 650 was the same price at Walmart and Costco, but my order already went through at CircuitCity, so I settled for the nuvi 350. Widescreen would have been nice, but not a necessity)
