Using poiedit, I can't convert sams.csv (garmin.csv) to sams.ov2. Any hints as to what I am doing wrong?

I think if you reduce the file to contain only 3 columns you will be able to convert it.
I just looked, took out column 3 (or C) which contains Sams and it saved to other formats. You could add Sams to column 4 (D) if you like. Just as long as you end up with only 3 columns total...ie.. long,lat,info
........Garmin StreetPilot c550 / Nüvi 765...........
