Nuvi 660 and Bracketron Nav-Mat Mount

It still needs the vehicle suction cup mount... not too reliable in the long run, according to many posts... still recommending Garmin's "El Baggo del Beanos"... I have it and love it!

How is your experience with 010-10908-00, portable mount?

I love mine. I fell in love with this type of mount when it came with my Street Pilot 2720. I got really tired of having a $700 Nüvi fall to the floor with the supplied suction cup mount/cradle. Plus, the bean bag mount can be hidden and leave no trace of a GPS, aka the tell tale "ring" from the suction cup. At under $30, it is an inexpensive investment to prevent breaking my Nüvi's screen...

The mount is very solid and does NOT slide around at all. At first, I thought it might slide since my 660 is much lighter than the 2720, but the bean bag is so heavy that it didn't make a difference.

I have the Garmin bean bag thingie, and it is great..I bought it for my Etrex and it stays put. And like previous posts it doesnt fall off the windshield...I am going to see if I can get the adapter for my New Nuvi.

Doesn't that TMC receiver plugged in 12V also charge the battery?
