Discovered a cheap source for Garmin mounts

The choice of mounts is limited for my c340, and now that I'm going to be moving it between my car and my wife's, I wanted something a little easier to handle than the stock suction cup mount. So, after doing some research, I settled on the Gramin Friction Dash Mount (model #010-10613-00). Easy enough to move from car to car, and since both of our cars have deep, level dashes, we shouldn't have to worry too much about slippage. I may put a non-skid pad on each dash (available from most hardware stores and Radio Shack) just as a precaution.
Anyway, the best price I could find from a reliable source was at Erwin Computers. Price is $24.95 plus $9.95 S&H. Total of $34.90. Since I don't live in NJ, there's no tax. And since they are a Yahoo! store, there's an added element of security. The list price for the mount at Garmin is $43.64 plus S&H. Mountguys price is $39.95 plus S&H.

Update to my original post
I ordered my Garmin mount yesterday (Monday) at 10:40 in the morning, EST. Erwin Computers emailed my UPS tracking info this morning (Tuesday) at 9:40. According to the UPS tracking site, I will have my package delivered TODAY at the normal delivery time for my neighborhood (around 3:00 this afternoon). And that is using the cheapest UPS shipping available - UPS Ground.
One day turnaround! Ain't technology and regional warehouses wonderful! Great job, Erwin Computers!

Amazon has the friction mount for $27.49, but no tax and free shipping. Sounds like there are some pretty good deals out there.

I agree that there are good deals out there. Amazon is usually really good when it comes to prices, but their free shipping (super saver - on purchases of $25 or more) leaves a lot to be desired. I order books from them every six months or so and get the free shipping. Only problem is that they send it USPS, and delivery can be one or two weeks or greater if you don't pay for the expedited shipping.
Other than that, Amazon is great to work with. But I'm still amazed at the one day turnaround from Erwin Computers.

Really? I'm sorry that's happened to you. The only time we see any shipping delay is when we ask for consolidated (free) shipping on several items and sometimes they really do wait for everything to be available before shipping (usually books or DVD's). But in our experience, they will ship the available items right away and the backordered item when available - without extra shipping charges. I also haven't noticed any unusual delays in transit because of the free shipping method. Hopefully that doesn't change.

I think the amazon Super Saver shipping speed depends a lot on where you live. I live in the Bay Area and it usually only takes about 2 days for those shipments to reach me. Anyway, I have a Garmin friction mount for my 660 and absolutely love it. Not only does it hold amazingly well, it's also easy to move or conceal (I put mine on the floor) to avoid making yourself a target for theft.

I was shopping for a beanbag mount for my nuvi 350 when I saw your post. Thanks for the information on Erwin Computers....I pulled the trigger. Total cost $28.95 (includes free shipping) and arrived at my door 36 hours after the order was placed. A good site to bookmark.

It works great because it can swivel around a bit and it holds my nuvi securely after I positioned it better on my movable car vent.
