Maybe it was just me (nuvi 350 / delete all)

Ok, I was playing around with the nuvi and I found something that I didn't realize was there.

Ppl have asked if there was a way that you can delete all your favorites at once, and I have been saying no, as well (correct me if I am wrong) as others.

But you can. There is a "Delete All" button that will delete all your favorites and custom POIs at once, then you can just reload the POIs.

The button is at the bottom right hand corner after you press "My locations" from the main screen. Has this been there all along?

That's just swell...

my nuvi 650 has no such option. :+(

Really, I am

Really, I am suprised!!!!!

If the 350 has it, I would think that the 650 would too.

I had assumed that the

I had assumed that the Garmin 350 and 650 were identical except for the screen size. On the Garmin web site when the two are compared all is the same.

Is it an actual difference between the models, or maybe your 350 has an older OS?

I just got my 650, and I don't even have a "My locations" button on the main screen. My main screen only has "Where to?" "View Map" and "Travel Kit". The "Where to?" screen doesn't have any "My locations" button either.

I see it

Indeed, there it is on my Nuvi 350!

SD Card is cheap

You can buy a 1GB SD Card from Buy.com for $9.45 and that is with free shipping! Then you'll never have this problem again.

A reasonable assumption..

I know from the way these different devices handle 'rich content' POI's that the only common feature, is that they're all made by Garmin!

It's as though they've all been programmed by different people, with same design brief -- but no shared code...

Actually, the StreetPilot C5xx and Zümo some some similarities and so do the Nüvi 2xx and Nüvi 7xx (unexpectedly).

I think the Nüvi 3xx must have been produced by a bunch of students or sub-contracted somewhere, it's so different!
