I downloaded the POI loader and then downloaded a set of POI's. They ended up in my extra folder on my GPS and are entitled custom POI's. Is there other software so that I have more control - ie...naming the set of POI's or is this not possible with the nuvi 250w? Thank you for any info you may have.
Renaming
Retired technician has a post to a question very much the same as yours. Essentially he explains that you can just rename that .gpi file (leaving the .gpi extension, then poi-loader another file, Rename that etc., I would suggest searching around for the other posts.

Make yourself Sub Folders and name the folder as to what the poi file is for an example the sub folder named food would have all your restaurant Pois in it a folder named lighthouses would have all your poi files named lighthouses in it ETC.
