Sure. Google Earth will open GPX files. If the POI files you are working with are CSV format, you can use POI Edit to convert them to GPX format. And then open them with GE.

you can transfer waypoints from your GPS to mapsource,then vew them in GOOGLE EARTH.

Yep, that will work for Waypoints. But Custom POIs won't show up that way unless you save them as Waypoints/Favorites first.

You can open .csv files in GeePeeEx Editor - then hit F3 to view them in Google Earth. The trial version places no limits on this particular functionality.
(The next version (still in Beta) interfaces in both directions with Google Maps).
