New Nuvi 660 user - 2 days. Really think it is a great tool and know I will find even more uses. I loaded the red light camera CSV without issues, etc. My question is if I chose a destination will I be alerted if there is a camera along the path or do I need to do something special. I searched the forum and did not quite find the answer. My apologies in advance for such a remedial question. Thanks.
POI alerts
By default, POI Loader with enable distance alerts for the red light camera file. (It looks for "redlight" as a keyword in the file name.)
If you don't change the file name or override POI Loader's default settings, a message will appear on your screen as you approach a location that's in the POI file.

My recollection is>>>
at least with the 530, the default warning is 1/4 mile

"You can't get there from here"
seems only a few hundred
seems only a few hundred feet on my 550...
so I used the new beta POI Loader and manually re-extended the distances to 800 ft...

Has anyone managed to let
Has anyone managed to let Mio C310x to warn on approaching a custom POI (SpeedTraps)?
Thanks
Warning distance on my c330
I have a csv for mobile radar, and if I ajust the speed limit at 100 kmh, the warning will be 1000 meters, if I ajust the speed at 80 kmh the warning will be 800 meters.
The ajustement is made in the csv with @80 or @100.
