Mapsource for Mac users???

Hi All,

Does anyone know if, and or when, Garmin will have Mapsource software available for Mac OS X users?

The Webupdater and the POI Loader for the Mac work great, but to complete the trifecta, we in the Mac community "need" the Mapsource software, to run on our Macintosh computers.

They are reportedly working on it. Their initial press release in 2006 said that it would be ready at the end of 2006 which, obviously, didn't happen. Now they are saying by the end of 2007, but I wouldn't hold my breath, and it might be more like 1st quarter 2008.

At least there's a little light, at the end of the tunnel. Maybe just a flicker of light, but that's a lot better than total darkness.

Dunno, I have had PC for years, I know hundreds of people with PC's, but only one with a Mac. With billions of PC's and a few hundred Mac's, the empire will probably not crash anytime soon. But to be fair, I do like Mac, but MS twisted has all control over me and everyone I know. (Except one) LoL

Lol Rodney. Yeah, when I look at my webpage stats every day the windows users consume about 7/8 of the pie.

three error messages in 4 years and not 1 crash or lock-up is pretty good though wink

Dang, don't even remember keeping a PC for that long. confused That is the problem with Mac's too dependable, if they made them to break down more, they would probably out sell PC!! wink
