Keyboard Layout !!!

I fell little uneasy while using default keyboard layout of Garmin (Sequential alphebets). Is there any means to upgrade/modify that into QWERTY layout?

I agree with you!

I sent the same enhancement request to Garmin. It should be a QWERTY keyboard layout.

The 7200 and 7500 have a Qwerty setting. It was an unexpected bonus when I discovered this. They don't for some reason advertise this feature. I don't know why all units are not set up this way. The alphabetical keyboard is a pain for sure.

QWERTY keyboard and a Shift Key Please, like before

The StreetPilot 2720 had it and it was excellent. It is hard to believe they went this route with the Nuvi alpha keyboard and no shift key.

I wonder if the new Nuvi 760 has the qwerty keys and a shift key. Almost enough reason to upgrade.

The 2720 gives one a choice of keyboard layouts with QWERTY one choice and alphabetic the other. It came defaulted to alphabetic, which I promptly changed to QWERTY.

Can not upgrade to 2720

Thanks. I will have to wait couple of months before I can afford to upgrade. Till then I will have to deal with this sequential keyboard of Nuvi350, I suppose.
