I purchased a c340 a few months ago, BTW I really like it. I did not buy a more expensive unit because I also own a GPS II plus that I use on my boat and for hiking/camping etc.. I have owned it for ~10 yrs... Give or take a year or so.... But, comparing the two units, there are a few things I really would like to see on my C340:
These are:
Knowing my exact GPS coordinates, my altitude - the c340 has (WAAS/EGNOS) so I think an altitude calc is possible, finally a screen that shows me the Sat's (birds) I am receiving. This last request is just a icing on the cake.. But I do think all these are possible.
Basically what my old GPS II plus can give me.
Is there anyway you can slip this in the enhancement requests??? Been doing software development for ~30yrs now.... and it is kind of nice being on the other side of the request process....
