Contributors of the week 2007-08-13

This week we are recognizing Garmintech and kgendler as our contributors of the week and giving an honorable mention to POI4Pat.

Garmintech, Wow!!! having you involved in the forums is a treat. No more assumptions about rules and regulations, now we know them and can respect them. Thank so much for hanging out with us and clearing up some of the confusion.

kgendler, I finally got that contributor badge added to your profile page and threw in a trophy also;) You came to us only 2 weeks ago and you have done more then jump in with both feet. Your energy and willingness to help others on projects is an inspiration.

POI4Pat, you are also one of our new ones (only 3 weeks) and you have been doing your best to cover the bases for CA Poi files. It is nice to have you here.

It has been a good week;)

Freedom isn't free...thank you veterans! Heard about the tests to detect PANCREATIC CANCER? There aren't any! In Memoriam: #77 NYPD-SCA/Seattle Mike/Joe S./Vinny D./RTC!

Holy crap!

Wow! I can't believe it. I'm humbled.

I'm only here because I want to help, want you to experience the best Garmin has to offer and to dispell any rumors.

Thank you for the nod, but I am only answering questions that come in daily, only trying to help and trying to make my own job easier.

To those who know me, thanks for all the help you give me...to those that don't know me, all of us at Garmin want to help you. Just be kind.

Congrats to all! Well deserved

and to Garmintech, not many forums have the privilege of having 'insiders' to give us a glimpse behind the curtains.

Thanks!

Congrats to all

Garmintech: You make this site that much more valuable as you assure us that some of our ramblings are seen within the organization. Also, when we are wrong, you can guide us. Congratulations to you, and I hope Garmin realizes the benefit you provide them.

Indeed we are very lucky to have had someone like Miss POI set up this site. While there are other POI sites out there, this is one I reccomend to many callers, because of the forums first and foremost, and then the POI files.

I have found that most of the posts here are excellent, occasionally we have someone posting some bad information, or trolling out of anger, but mostly it is quality postings. I'm honored to be able to be a part of the group.

I was afraid at first that admiting I was with Garmin would be a bad thing, but mostly people have been kind and receptive. I am taking a risk, as I am not sure the company would approve of my postings, but I am honest and want you to know there are mostly good techs here. I'm sure other companies have good techs as well, just not as many, and certainly not me...although I'll entertain offers...LOL

Thanks again to everyone, and to everyone who uses Garmin, thank you for your support. It's a great company to be a part of, and some days I can't believe I get paid for talking to such great customers!

garmintech

Great to have you here with us . It's especially helpful for newbies like me . keep up the good work. I believe garmin should be proud of your efforts.
