TomTom & My Drive connect

Hi,
I have 2 TomTom's 1525 via and am having problems with the new my drive connect application. Keeps on saying " o disk space on your computer for caching. Please free up disk space to resume."

Did you act on the message?

Just based on the wording, it likely means you have insufficient space for the installation process to work properly. In general, to ensure you have enough space for map installations, especially for full maps, I think TomTom suggests you have at least 8GB of free space on your device's internal memory or a compatible memory card. There are some guidelines at https://help.tomtom.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013959539-Devic...

thanks

Thank you

tomtom

mydrive is a hell of a downgrade from Home, the old one works better, but only with old gpss

if John's note above does not work,
rightclick the tray icon,
settings,
general, clear cache
downloads, empty download folder
completely exit the program from the rightclick tray menu

and restart mydrive

fragments of interrupted downloads seem to stick around, in 5.0.0.5099, and lower, and mess up indexing
noted and rewrite in progress will be released as .6something, tomtom have been pretty good with repair
